Where & when does the church meet?
Our Church meets every Sunday at 10:30am for our Sunday Morning Service and 6:00pm for our Evening Service. Aim to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.
We meet at:
Romford Baptist Church
Main Road
ROMFORD
RM1 3BL
Our telephone number is : 01708 743 382.
You can see a map on our contact us page.
There is limited parking available on the site.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be approximately 45 mins of singing with opportunity for church members to pray or read a passage from the bible. After the notices there will be a preach from one of the leaders at the Church with a chance to respond at the end of the service.
Tea, coffee and juice is served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.
What happens to the kids at church?
We have a fantastic programme for the kids for ages 0–12, and a fully engaging youth program. Children and youth stay with their grown-up at the start of the morning as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the service. The speaker will make it clear when and where children need to go for their programmes. You will need to go with your children and register them. The kids will have great fun playing games, and learning about God in a way tailored to their age group.
At Romford Baptist Church we welcome every child and want for them to be a part of all aspects of our church life. We take the well-being of every child as of primary importance. We therefore ask that parents and carers advise us of any particular needs their child may have, including behavioural issues, allergies and medical conditions.
For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under church life.
Can people with disabilities or additional needs attend?
Absolutely! We want to welcome everyone and therefore, as much as we are able, we will seek to support the needs of each individual. Please speak to a member of the Amaze Team to find out more.
Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I have to join in?
Not at all!
You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
If I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them.
Please feel free to contact us. If you want to know who works in the church office, check out our Staff and Leadership page.
